Report from the S’SS Winter School 2025/2026

On December 12–13, 2025, another edition of the S’SS Winter School was held at the Didactic and Congress Center and the Center for Innovative Medical Education.

The Winter School is a unique opportunity to develop practical skills – this year, we prepared a wide selection of workshops covering key areas of modern medicine. Participants had the chance to expand their skills in ultrasonography, surgical suturing, patient communication, as well as statistics and elements of scientific research.

The event was also enriched by inspiring lectures that served as an excellent introduction to the world of research and academic activity. Special thanks go to Dr. Dawid Storman, who discussed the principles of conducting reliable systematic reviews, and to Tomasz Kozioł, who delivered a lecture titled “My First Publication.”

This year’s Winter School was also an opportunity for networking and exchanging experiences with other students who share similar passions and scientific interests.
