Students’ Scientific Groups’ Fair (Targi Kół Naukowych) is S’SS JU MCs’ initiative which aims to present the offer of all the Students’ Scientific Groups associated within the S’SS during the given academic year.
REPORT FROM THE 4th EDITION
Dear Members of the Students’ Scientific Society,
On October 23rd, another edition of the Students’ Scientific Groups’ Fair was held at the Didactic and Congress Center of Jagiellonian University Medical College.
This year, a record number of 174 Student’s Scientific Groups operating within the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Faculty of Health Sciences were registered, and the Fair became a unique opportunity to learn about the activities of many of them.
During the Fair, as every year, members of actively operating Students’ Scientific Groups presented their work both through oral presentations and at exhibition stands. All interested participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with this year’s offer of the societies, their activities, and recruitment processes.
Additionally, for the first time, a poster session was organized, during which the most interesting student research projects and the achievements of individual societies were presented. This gave participants the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of each society’s scientific profile and expand their knowledge.
Participants of the event had the opportunity to vote for their favorite poster — the award was given to the work of Julia Kościanek, Chair of the Student Scientific Society of Coronary Artery Disease and Heart Failure. Congratulations!
The Fair, concluded with an integrative meeting of Future and Current Members of the S’SS, allowed for integration among individuals who share a passion for science and active academic engagement.
We are very grateful for your presence, and we invite you to participate in all the future S’SS initiatives!
